The cottages are fully furnished with comfortable traditional furniture, carpeting, soft furnishings and floor tiles as appropriate. Plenty of hot water (large, insulated hot water cylinders).

Both cottages are very warm in winter. In Mistletoe there are Night storage heaters downstairs and convector heaters (with an  optional thermostat time switch) in the bedroom. In Heron Manor there is Oil fired central heating.

 

Bathrooms:
with bath, shower, WC, wash hand basin, shaver point, towel rail and heater, new floor & wall tiles throughout.  

Kitchens:
both cottages are very well equipped,  new Shaker Style fitted  units with 4 ring hob, full size oven, extractor hood, dishwasher. Mistletoe has a largefridge/freezer. Heron has a separate fridge and freezer.

Lots of china, glasses, utensils, kettle, toaster, microwave, vacuum cleaner, cleaning materials, iron & board. Washing machine (with dryer in mistletoe and clothes airer in Heron.

Sitting rooms:
Flatscreen 32” colour TV  with Freesat; Blu-ray/DVD player; radio/cassette player, games, lots of useful local  and tourist information: small inglenook with open fire in Mistletoe  and large inglenook with open fire in Heron.

Mistletoe has a dining table in the kitchen; Heron Manor has a dining table in the sittingroom.

Bedrooms:
attractive furnishings, beautiful views, good quality beds.

Beds:
full bed linen, consisting of either duvets with covers and bottom sheets, or blankets and two sheets, is provided, and beds are made up for guests’ arrival. Fresh bed-linen is available at the week-end for visitors staying more than one week.

Extra beds and sofa-beds are not made up, but full linen can be provided at no additional charge.

Clean tea towels, personal towels and WC rolls are provided.

Plenty of storage space.

Garden furniture, small brick built barbecue in Mistletoe’s garden.

Extras on request:
A small basket of logs is supplied for  the open fires and wood burning stove during the winter between 1 November and 31 March, but extra wood needs to be bought from the local farm shop. We will try to meet  other requests if possible including for  baby-sitting and these are  charged at cost.

Space does not allow us to itemise every feature or piece of equipment so please do not hesitate to ask if you have any specific questions or requests.
